MultiClot®
Viscoelastic Whole-Blood Coagulation
New insights into coagulation dynamics that current systems miss.
Multiclot answers the questions current VET/anti-Xa testing don’t answer fast enough. Fast, flexible, and insightful, MultiClot features six independent channels engineered for both clinical and research environments. It enables rapid, reproducible assessment of coagulation activation, clot formation, clot stability, and fibrinolysis — with a test menu no other system matches.

Six independent channels. One powerful platform. MultiClot delivers rapid, reproducible whole-blood coagulation analysis — engineered for clinical and research environments.
How Multiclot Works

MultiClot utilises cup and pin technology with standard citrate whole blood — requiring only 340 µL per test.
MultiClot employs Elastic Motion Thromboelastography with high-sensitivity capacitive signal detection across every channel — engineered for stable, reproducible viscoelastic measurements even in demanding clinical and research environments.
By analysing whole blood MultiClot captures the complete coagulation picture, including the contribution of cellular components, delivering fast and actionable insights for the management of coagulation disorders.
Supported by a growing body of publications, clinical guidelines, and expert recommendations, MultiClot is positioned as a vital tool across both research and clinical settings.
An Industry-Leading Test Menu
1
Standard tests
MultiClot offers eight established viscoelastic tests (EX, FIB, AP, IN, HI) covering the full spectrum of coagulation assessment.
Small pack sizes of 10 cartridges support cost-effective testing across both clinical and research settings
2
Anti-Coagulants
MultiClot's standout capability is its dedicated anticoagulant detection — including Russell's viper venom test (RVV) and the ecarin test (ECA) for direct thrombin inhibitors and factor Xa antagonists respectively — enabling precise DOAC monitoring that standard viscoelastic systems cannot match
3
Fibrinolysis
The TPA assay uses recombinant tissue plasminogen activator to identify impaired fibrinolysis — whether due to tranexamic acid (TXA) therapy or intrinsically impaired fibrinolysis (fibrinolytic resistance) — providing critical insight for bleeding management
Reagent Tip Technology – Innovation in action
MultiClot uses innovative reagent tip technology in which each pipette tip carries a dry reagent carrier that reconstitutes automatically when blood is drawn — eliminating manual handling and reducing preparation time.
Unlike fixed four-channel cartridge systems, MultiClot's reagent tip design gives clinicians and researchers complete freedom to select individual assays as needed.
This makes MultiClot the only open viscoelastic testing system on the market — offering unmatched diagnostic flexibility across clinical and research applications

Dry reagent carrier reconstitutes automatically on blood contact — no manual preparation required.
