The Multiplate® analyzer is an easy-to-use instrument to determine platelet function in small quantities of whole blood in a highly standardized manner.
The Multiplate product portfolio comprises the analyzer and related accesories, a broad menu of CE marked tests and consumables like test cells and blood tubes.
Its flexible design allows for a fast turn around time of 10 minutes per test a period. Combined with its 5 channels, this permits the processing of up to 30 tests per hour that require only 300 μL blood per analysis.
The system’s underlying low-shear detection principle enables the specific activation of platelet receptors or transduction pathways. The instrument manufacturer has provided research reference ranges for three anticoagulants; lithium heparin (typically a green top blood collection tube), 3.2 % citrate (typically a blue top blood collection tube), and an RUO hirudin blood collection tube (3 ml) available to purchase from Haemoview Diagnostics.
